Over 30 Years of Quality Workmanship
Capri Pools, founded by Durwood Campbell, has been a leading Bakersfield-based swimming pool contractor since 1981. Upon Woody's retirement, his son and business partner, Kirt Campbell, formed Bakersfield Pool Plastering in 2000 and strategically decided to focus on pool remodeling and new construction plastering. Kirt Campbell is a native of Bakersfield and has been hands-on in the swimming pool industry for 30 years, focusing on swimming pool plastering and remodeling. Bakersfield Pool Plastering holds a California C-53 Swimming Pool Construction License and is an active member of the National Plasterers Council.
In 2023 Kirt Campbell retired and sold the company to three of Bakersfield Pool Plastering’s longest employees. Alfonso Hernandez, Julian Gomez, and Gabino Contreras whom have all worked at Bakersfield Pool Plastering their entire adult lives. Their combined skills, longevity and hard work created the perfect fit to be Bakersfield Pool Plastering’s newest owners.
